Advocacy
The Armed Forces Chamber PAC, the nonpartisan political arm of the Armed Forces Chamber of Commerce, endorses political candidates who unwaveringly support veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. Registered with the Nevada Secretary of State, the PAC advocates for policies advancing the interests of those who have served our nation. Additionally, the PAC backs policies that bolster businesses, enhance the regional economy, and address employer concerns. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to student achievement and educational excellence, recognizing education's vital role in shaping future leaders. The PAC values candidates willing to collaborate with the Armed Forces Chamber of Commerce and the broader business community on various issues. Through these endorsements, the PAC aims to foster a supportive environment for military families and the business community, ensuring a prosperous future for all.
The Armed Forces Chamber PAC provides up to $25,000 of robust in-kind support to its endorsed candidates, including comprehensive advertising and promotional efforts to enhance their visibility. Endorsements are featured on the "Armed Forces Chamber Podcast," the Chamber’s e-newsletter and the Chamber's social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. Endorsed candidates can use the "Armed Forces Chamber" logo. Additionally, endorsements are advertised in publications like the Boulder City Review, El Mundo Newspaper Las Vegas, Indian Voices, Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Sun, Mesquite Local News, Moapa Valley Progress, Pahrump Valley Times, Philippine Times of Southern Nevada, The Laughlin Times, Veterans Reporter News, and Veterans World Magazine. This approach ensures endorsed candidates receive extensive exposure and recognition, supporting their campaigns and highlighting their commitment to veterans, military personnel, and the broader business community.
Joint Veteran Endorsements
The Armed Forces Chamber PAC took a significant stride in Southern Nevada by forging joint veteran endorsements for political candidates, partnering with esteemed organizations such as Veterans in Politics International Inc. (VIPI), Nevada Veterans Association, and Nevada Democratic Veterans and Military Families Caucus. This collaborative effort signified a unified front in supporting candidates who prioritized the interests of veterans and military families. By leveraging their collective influence and expertise, these organizations aimed to ensure that the voices of veterans were heard and represented in the political arena. Through joint endorsements, they sought to endorse candidates who demonstrated a genuine commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the veteran community, fostering a political landscape that valued their service and sacrifices. This strategic alliance underscored the importance of bipartisan cooperation in advocating for veterans' rights and welfare, transcending political divides for the greater good of those who served our country.
