History

Nevada is home to approximately 218,000 veterans, according to the Nevada Legislature. While the state hosts dozens of chambers of commerce, none specifically catered to the unique needs of veteran entrepreneurs and veteran-owned businesses until 2017. Recognizing this gap, the Armed Forces Chamber of Commerce was established to educate, support, and empower Armed Forces members, helping them serve, lead, and succeed in the business world.

In just three years, the Armed Forces Chamber of Commerce achieved remarkable growth, expanding its membership to 2,500 businesses—even during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. Its rapid success became a beacon for veteran entrepreneurs and inspired the creation of additional business organizations attempting to capitalize on its momentum and replicate its achievements.

As Nevada's largest and oldest chamber of commerce dedicated to serving veterans, the Armed Forces Chamber of Commerce remains a pivotal institution. It provides vital resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy to help veteran-owned businesses thrive. The Chamber's unique focus fills a critical role in Nevada’s economic ecosystem, supporting the entrepreneurial aspirations of those who have served their country.

By creating a robust community and fostering business success among veterans, the Armed Forces Chamber has become a transformative force for Nevada's veteran community and a model for similar initiatives nationwide.
