Councilwoman Olivia Diaz recognizes the Armed Forces Chamber



On August 7, 2024, Las Vegas Councilwoman Olivia Diaz, representing Ward 3, formally recognized the Armed Forces Chamber for its outstanding contributions to the local veteran and business communities during a City Council meeting. In a special presentation, Councilwoman Diaz awarded the Chamber a framed Certificate of Recognition in honor of its commitment to empowering veterans, business owners, and community members across Southern Nevada.


Andre’ Haynes, Founder and CEO of the Armed Forces Chamber, accepted the prestigious award on behalf of the Chamber. Haynes was joined by more than a dozen Chamber members, partners, and supporters who attended the event, proudly representing the organization’s diverse and dedicated network. Notable representatives included members from First Citizens Bank, the U.S. Air Force – Civil Air Patrol, Vegas Valley Squadron, and many more, showcasing the Chamber’s broad reach and strong partnerships within the community.


Councilwoman Diaz praised the Armed Forces Chamber for its work in fostering economic growth, supporting veteran-owned businesses, and advocating for the needs of the veteran community. “The Armed Forces Chamber has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication in serving our city’s veterans and entrepreneurs,” Diaz stated. “It is an honor to recognize their efforts and the positive impact they continue to make.”


The Armed Forces Chamber has become an essential resource in Southern Nevada, offering programs and services that help veterans transition into civilian life, build successful businesses, and engage with their local communities. This recognition at the City Council meeting further cements the Chamber’s role as a vital force in improving the lives of veterans and their families.
